Frequently asked questions
Can I edit existing text in a PDF?
Yes. Choose the Text tool and click any line of text. PDFCart matches the font size, style and color, so your change blends in with the rest of the page.
Is there a page or file size limit?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so there are no upload limits, task limits or waiting — large documents only depend on your device's memory.
What can I add to a PDF?
Text, images, rectangles and ellipses (with border and fill colors), freehand drawings, clickable links, highlights, underlines, strikethroughs, white-out and signatures (typed, drawn or uploaded).
Can I find and replace words?
Yes. Open Find & replace in the toolbar to change every occurrence of a word across the whole document at once.
Does white-out permanently delete content?
White-out hides content visually, but the original text can remain in the file's text layer. Don't rely on it to remove sensitive information.
Is it free and private?
Yes. Editing happens in your browser; your PDF is never uploaded.
