How are the columns detected?

PDFCart looks at where text lines up across rows and splits each row at the gaps between columns — this also handles right-aligned amounts.

Are numbers real numbers?

Yes. Values like 1,234.50, (500) and 12% become numbers you can sum and chart. Account numbers and IDs with leading zeros stay as text.

Does it work with scanned statements?

Yes. Scanned pages are read with OCR first. Check amounts carefully on poor-quality scans.

Is my statement uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser — important for bank statements and payslips.
